Is the DEC's Conservation Plan for Bald Eagles in New York State Assbackwards??
Notice the plan goals call for guiding the siting of wind turbines, but discouraging intentional feeding of Bald Eagles. This must be a typo. Surely they meant to discourage the siting of wind turbines, such as in Galloo Island, but guide the feeding of eagles. Or, do they have it assbackwards?
1H. Provide guidance for siting and ongoing operation of wind turbines, communication towers and high voltage lines.
1J. Discourage the intentional feeding of bald eagles.
