What contradictory logic drives this notion? close an operating nuclear plant that produces energy around the clock without emitting carbon dioxide as a byproduct,while at the same time promoting the construction of industrial scale wind turbines both onshore and offshore in the great lakes which can only provide intermittent power requiring backup by a plant such as the one being considered to close???
This is environmental, and economic folly!
