State Audit Criticizes Lowville School District
A state audit is criticizing the Lowville Academy and Central School District for the way it handles its money.
According to Office of the State Comptroller, the district failed to effectively manage its fund balance as it receives payments in lieu of taxes from the Maple Ridge Wind Farm.
